2. BINO's
Believers In Name Only.

My sister and I had one of the biggest fights we've ever had when she wanted to know what mansion I was going to get into in heaven. Holding back the temptation to say "whichever one that's furthest away from you", I said "the one God wants me in, just like everybody else". I haven't heard anything about the mansions since.

10. It's gonna be funnier than heck to get to "heaven" and find
just a whole lot of other disembodied souls waiting to catch the next available baby back to earth. After all that workin' for attaining the lifestyles of the rich and famous, some people are going to be really disappointed and come back as Ken Lay.

4. Most of these types would never believe that the Rapture happened
even though a large number of people disappeared, they're still sitting around, wondering where everybody went . . . and why nobody's buying anything from them . . .

15. I think they expect us to do it.
You know - all us secular, non-believers who will be the servants of the righteous once they get things all arranged to their satisfaction in their self-centered "Heaven".

9. First I thought it was a satiric website but noooooo
it's for real, isn't it?

How would they know that this is where I have always wanted to live?

I like the natural setting - with that much beauty around, who would want to sit inside?

they are just so shallow, they would dream of a macmansion to spend eternity.

I would choose as you did, be with nature.

16. I guess for some believers
being in Heaven doesn't mean one must give up the earthly pleasures of judging and condemning the spiritual shortcomings of others.
My dream of what heaven might be like is so humble in comparison (a Dairy Queen every 30 feet). But some people have a bolder vision, of a Heaven where they can look out the windows of their large, imposing mansions, and gaze smugly upon those less-worthy-than-me souls who must spend eternity living in an outhouse.

maybe if they're really lucky they will be able to leave their heavenly mansion for the occasional field trip to hell where they can witness what happens to the baddest of the bad, the ones who didn't believe in the right deity.

" The Pew Warmer Mansion: One of the saddest groups of people in heaven will be those who never did anything beyond going to church every Sunday. They had the knowledge of the truth, but they never did anything with it."

18. i was reading a fascinating article the other day
don't have time to find it now, but will later. He grew up and was part of this group, he said that the left behind series sold about 80 mill. copies, these people do not read, but they have swear by these books. Now 80 mill in a country with the population of about 280 mill, you can see what we are against.
He went on to say it was part of the lack of education in the bible belt. Now I wouldn't know I grew up in Ma, I can't imagine things that bad in other states when it comes to the school system.

17. I know I've heard this somewhere before...
A lawyer dies and goes to heaven. Once he reaches the pearly gates, St. Peter approaches him and says, "Oh, its you. Follow me."

At that a white limousine pulled up. The lawyer stepped in and they sped off.

On the way the lawyer stared out the window. He saw someone that looked familiar. He said, "Hey, isn't that St. Jerome?"

St. Peter replied, "Yes, that is."

The lawyer was puzzled by the living conditions. The Saint was living in a pup tent and traveling around on a bike.

A short while later the lawyer noticed another man who looked familiar. "Isn't that St. Francis?" he asked.

"Yes it is" replied St. Peter.

The lawyer was surprised to see that the saint was living in a tin shack and had a skateboard for transportation.

The lawyer began to worry, "If Saints have such lousy living conditions, what will mine be like."

Soon they pulled up to a huge white mansion with a staff of twenty waiting outside. St. Peter announced that this was to be the lawyers home and the staff were there to attend to his every need.

"Are there any questions you have for me before you are left to your eternity?" asked St. Peter

"Yes!" said the lawyer. "Why do the saints live in such terrible conditions and mine are so great?"

Saint Peter replied, "We have hundreds of saints but you're our first lawyer."

19. Interesting
This house is at the end of my neighborhood and a widow did live there until she died a few years back (if it's not the same house, it looks exactly the same, even down to the yard treatments).

Wonder if she got the same house in heaven? :eyes:

This site is funny, but seriously silly. Like we need mansions when we have no bodies. Duh.
