There is a guest... didn't see his name but he is chairman of Council on American Islamic relations.
First caller started with "you people..." - absolutely ignorant and xenophobic caller. Stopped short of saying american muslims are terrorists.
Another caller - why do muslim americans vote democratic? americans liberated Iraq
Third caller - I agree with the previous caller. You should vote republican because if it was the democrats, iraqis would still live under Saddam

1. They think in terms of collective identity |
|
That's how they end up using "you people."
They have no self esteem, so being born on US soil is all they have to feel superior over. And they have to feel superior to someone. Frankly, I think the Muslims are a boon to them. They know it is "politically incorrect" (how they whine about that) to look down on blacks, etc., but 911 gave them that boon of a group they could be superior too without being accused of racism - it's OK to bash "the Muslims" in light of 911, they feel, and in fact, they are not called on it much.
They need someone to hate, as an inferior group (in their minds), and the Muslims are made to order.

8. just a question, if people feel that their votes are going to be |
|
stolen or hacked will it make people more determined to vote or not to vote, for some strange reason, the Rove machine wants to make the American public feel that their votes are not valid and to lose faith in our voting system, this is what exactly they want, so all the more reason to get out there and VOTE!

7. Funny if it weren't so accurate |
|
Its disturbing to see that mentality, that message, that hatred of government and fellow Americans emerging again now that GOP control is on the wane.
Muslim Americans (and Dems or anyone working for the government) is more vulnerable than ever to these sick people.
Cleaning up the news media and the airwaves is the only way to drain this idelogical swamp.

10. Nope, and they usually overlook the suicidal shooters of Columbine, too. |
|
"We" never do anything like that, naw. Not with our genetic make-up and our "Christianity."
