Do you favor rolling back all of Bush's tax cuts?
Under the Clinton era, the tax brackets were 15%, 28%, 31%, 36%, 39.6%.

Under Bush, the brackets are 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33%, 35%

I like the 10%, 15%, and 25% tax brackets. They help poor and middle class families.

The only change I would make would be to increase the brackets after 25% to what they were in the Clinton days with the addition of a millionaire's bracket taxed at 50% any income over $1 million. The CEO money these days is obscene.

4. I agree. We must eliminate the latest tax cut, if nothing else.
He can't have that tax cut and spend the way he has over these 6 years. It's an outrage.

7. absolutely..
even if we had no national debt, we would still need a balanced budget to prevent trillians more in debt from accumulating. Keeping Social Security solvent for the retiring babyboomers will require at least one more payroll tax increase. Another tax that should be brought back is the windfall profits tax on oil companies, and every penny of that money should be used to develop renewable sources of energy.

When will Republicans ever take the blame for the billions wasted yearly on interest payments made on the national debt? When will Republicans accept the blame for doing nothing on 9/11? When will Republicans ever stand up and say "raise my taxes, let me help pay for this war in Iraq?"

I remember when Republicans condemned Clinton for going into Bosnia without an "exit strategy." I remember when Republicans used to claim that Clinton would never balance our budget, let alone acknowledge those years with budget surpluses. I remember when Republicans complained that the Electoral College "elected" Bill Clinton both times, but now...they think its the greatest thing on Earth!

They can whine day and night about high taxes, lol..they would of sided with Hitler if they ever had to pay FDR era taxes.

8. I would like to see us get over progressive taxing the wealthiest Americans
The wealthiest 1% should have to over pay for a few years to even out the unfair benefits they have been receiving these past six years. Then we should institute a luxury tax on things like yachts and other toys that only the rich can afford. I'm tired of the pigs feeding at the trough and I want them to experience a fraction of the delayed satisfaction the rest of us have had to give up at their expense.
