I will kiss your ass if.... |

We take back both houses on Nov. 7th. I am not tying to be pessimistic but I am that convinced that they will steal enough elections to keep the power. I know the polls are in our favor but they were in 2004 too and so were the exit polls. I expect the same this time.

7. Expect It All Ya Want. But Can You Do The Right Thing And Not Post The |

defeatist crap until the election's over? That way, you won't be serving to discourage voters from going to the polls, which we need quite badly right now. All your sentiment does is hurt our agenda and is in no way effective, strategical or carry any value. So expect your doom and gloom all ya want. But can ya have some respect for this community and our goals and not post the defeatist-works-against-our-cause spew until after November 7th?
Thanks in advance.

20. With all due respect, Optimism makes people stay home. |
|
People are more motivated to vote when they think that someone's trying to get over on them or if they think their party is going to lose, not win. The fact is, most candidates worry about complacency from voters when they look like they're going to win in a landslide.
Me? I think they are cooking the Diebold books as we speak. I hold out hope that if their program only flips 2% of the votes, that we can cover. Not optimistic. Very hopeful, but not optimistic.
Biggest election yet. We are so close to the point of no return and a victory would lead us out of the Naze regime. And BOTH sides know it.

|
I call it being a realist. I hope and pray you guys are right, and I will gladly post some big ol lips on here if you are. I just hope that you all will be big enough to realize after it happens that I was right, that I or my opinion did not cause it. I am gonna vote, we all should, I just don't have any confidence that we still have a democracy. If I am right, what will you do then, will you keep typing on the internet, keep voting in sham elections, keep waiting for the corporate media to come to its senses and come to our rescue. What then, what will you do? Tough question so please no weak answers.

18. I get what you're saying but now isn't the time for pessimism. |
|
Nor is it a time to celebrate. If you're committed to vote (as you should be), you must have SOME confidence in our democracy, right? Meanwhile, talk to everyone you meet, tell them our current government is a total fuckup (clean that up as appropriate) and we have to change it! :D
