"BREAKING NEWS" for the Fear Factor crowd -- Al Qaida operative killed |
|
I put the "breaking news" in quotes for a reason. They're getting a hard-on for this over in CONservative-ville...Ooh boy! Another dead terrorists! Woo hoo! Go get 'em George! Remind America how tough you are and that you're staying the cour...uh...switching tactics, NOT cut n running.
Look at the date of the actual "event" they're calling "Breaking News." Fucking morons.
-----------
October 24, 2006 Henry Schuster, CNN
(CNN) -- An al Qaeda operative wanted in connection with the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings was killed in April in Pakistan, American officials have confirmed.
Pakistani officials had said that Muhsin Musa Matwalli Atwah was killed in North Waziristan during an airstrike by Pakistani forces near the border with Afghanistan.
DNA testing confirmed the Pakistani government's claim, U.S. officials said, and Atwah's name was removed from the FBI's list of Most Wanted Terrorists.
Atwah, 42, was born in Egypt. He was indicted in connection with al Qaeda's suicide bombings of U.S. embassies in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The attacks killed 224 people, including 12 Americans.

Wow! Well, with election in just two weeks, I'd sure hate to be one of the several #3 leaders of Al Qaida BushCo will be parading before us as they get more desperate to concoct an explanation for their winning the election.

Although he was only described as "an operative" in the story. I think that means he was the guy they sent for pizza. I'll be watching for more breaking news about this story from APRIL!

10. Hey at least he was indicted |
|
That makes him REAL guilty, instead of just guilty like the people in Gitmo.

7. Still A Good Thing That He's Dead Anyway Though. We Do Still Want To Get |

the bad guys, ya know. I know it isn't breaking news, and lord knows they love their propaganda, but it is still a good thing when one of these terrorist fuckers are taken down. I'm not so blind in my hatred that I can't recognize when a complete evil scumbag was disposed of. I don't know why we feel the need to have to mock it each time as if catching/killing these people doesn't matter. It does. It's just the administration's utterly disgraceful practices and tactics that I deplore. But I'm not going to translate that into not thinking it a good thing when we nail someone like Atwah.

that I like it when a terrorist is blown into such small bits that it takes 6 months to identify him. (at the risk of sonding like a freeper, just because George W Bush is an asshole does not mean these guys are not).
