Campaign Contribution Limits for a Sitting Senator or Congressperson
Senators and House members are limited to how much they can contribute to another campaign...

http://www.fec.gov/pages/brochures/contriblimits.shtml

For example,

Senator Clinton's campaign is only able to contribute $2,100.00 per election cycle, primary or general... A total of $ 4,200.00 if a candidate has a primary opponent...

Senator Clinton can contibute more to the House or Senate Democratic Election Campaign... She is able to contribute up to $ 26,700.00 to each committee...

An individual candidate is considered a PAC by the FEC when contributing to other candidates...

FYI....

2. Clean elections
I watched the show about it on PBS, and it looks like a good idea, at least MUCH better than the system we have now.

4. I watched the clean election program too. Ban political contributions.
Ban contributions to officeholders and candidates. Let candidates and officeholders get money from the government funded by tax dollars.

Let the people buy their own commercials and campaign literature for their desired candidate or officeholder.

Ban contributions from lobbyists to anyone.

Let lobbyists run commercials telling the public what they want or pass out literature as well tell people what they want legislated.

Break the link between money and legislation.
