So when Congress comes back in November... |
And we have won. Are they going to be scrambling like chickens with their heads cut off to get stuff passed before they lose their seats?

4. Well Bushie wants to make his tax cuts permanent |
Plus, Social Security to blow out of the water. They will declare war on America and sink the ship before they leave. I am so afraid what else they can think to do to punish America for ruining their little dream world they had developed.

6. I have faith that we are 'on to them'. SS was dead in the water |
when he first brought it up. He's already a lame asshole; who but the most disturbed would believe it a year or two later?

11. The only thing I know of that the blivet wants to pass is |
social security reform. It didn't work the first time so I can't imagine why he thinks it might work a year or two later. That's the height of my bright idea and the link went to that. Apparently that was lame. x(

12. Well, there's no question that (no matter WHO 'wins' on 11/7) ... |
... the GOPigs will be going after Social Security again in the lame-duck session - at least there's no question in MY feeble mind. It's very probable that they'll also be going after tax reductions on the rich, too. Absolutely everything they do, I believe, will be "show me the money" efforts to make their GOPig 'base' happy. They'll not waste time on placating their asshole-base ... no flag-burning, no prayer in school, no abortion banning. Those are rabble-rousing things they save for the full session. I think we can count on some very sneaky shit ... provisions buried in other legislation and other deceits.
