Corker ad : "Canada can take care of North Korea; they're not busy"
Canada isn't busy?!? Maybe Corker's hitmen need to dial-up the parents of these soldiers:

http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2006/10/14/afghanistan.html

From the ad video... "Canada can take care of North Korea; they're not busy."

Could someone please point out to the voters of Tennessee that Corker has lost any right to lead this country on national security and the fight against global terrorism, since he's sufficiently out-of-touch to either not realize that Canada is fighting on our behalf in Afghanistan, or that he values the alliance so little that he'll belittle Canada's sizable sacrifice?

17. There is at least one judge who seems to think so.
The one who sentenced a sex-offender to 3 years of exile in Canada, instead of jail in the US.

3. WTF is that supposed to mean?
Have we just been "assigned" to handle the NK situation now? Should we tug our forelocks now?

And as for the assertion that we're "not busy", may I remind the fucker that our soldiers are already quite busy fighting and dying in Afghanistan as we speak, our little "contribution" to the GWOT.

Assclown.

:grr:

13. It's suppose to mean...
That bashing a country like Canada has traction in places like Tenneesse and is applauded by Americans and Canadians should be very aware of this when dealing with Americans on any level....the Machine will turn anyone into a target for domestic political convenience and even liberals will 'bash' if they smell 'power' by doing so. Afterall, there is virtually no difference between the two parties in that part of the country anyway...they are all fighting vicious nativist campaigns.

Expect it to get worst over the longrun as they consume themselves, simplify their political language and run out of national 'superlatives'. Spiegel

Apparently even though there is US President and a Party that has claimed for the past six years to be handling North Korea and big bad Kim, it's better just to blame Canada, I suppose.

Huh? How'd you come up with that from the Corkerite "Let Canada handle NK" ad comment?

15. LBN: U.S. campaign ad critical of Canada yanked

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x2580501

Whether it was the Canada slur, or the racist aspect... who knows. Hopefully it'll stay pulled.

4. I'm from TN and this race has gotton nasty
nasty as I've ever seen it. The race is very close and that is why you see the bad ads. The Canada remark isn't the worst one the one that playes up that Ford Jr. attended a Playboy superbowl party is the worst. I need to go and early vote today to get it out of the way to get Ford another vote.

6. I've seen clips of that one, and my first thought was
that bimbo would never make it as a playmate. She would be more at home in a third rate strip joint. A real nasty ad.

8. Same ad, I think.
It a drive-by slander-fest, including the Canada and "I met him at the Playboy party" lines, and the "Call me, Harold!" not-so-subtly racist closer.

5. OH I bet the folks from Canada just LOVE that guy!
The US has been doing SO WELL at making and keeping friendsin the last 6 years, and Corker is sure helping Shrub along that avenue.

9. Yes, I'm sure this will buttress the international alliances ...
... that are fostered by our "fight them over there" theory. How would you like to be one of the over theres? (e.g. Bali, Madrid, London, all of Iraq and Afghanistan) And how do you think that would make you feel about the US?

the world. He started all of this with his stupid axis of evil crap way back when he first took office, and has continued to make things worse ever since!

11. Yeah, I just love that. He's supposed to be running for office ...
... as one of the top leaders of the country, but he can't even get some of his friends to pull an ad?

Doesn't sound like Corker will be able to do too much for the people of Tennessee.

16. Hate to bring it up if someone here already posted it, but there are a coup...
of funny photos going around of Bob Corker's daughter, Julia. I heard them mentioned tonight on Sirius Left, on the Bill Press show:

http://www.wonkette.com/politics/kids/more-facebook-fun-bob-corkers-daughter-experiments-with-mary-cheneyism-180720.php

Here are the darling Corkers in earlier days:

Here's Corker's website:
http://www.bobcorkerforsenate.com/Issues.aspx

Would one of the two photos of Julia look right here?
