How Would You Reward The Senator Who Leads A Successful Fillibuster?
Just asking. I'm sick of all the negativity, how about something a little positive?
As for me, I think I'd start with my vote, and at least $500.

8. Duers can chip into their re-election campaigns
look at the money we raised for Dean - Progressive Dems of America should start now lining up candidates to run against them in their states, and then begin a huge nationwide campaign of all our grass roots activists to give money and time to be sure they get elected.

Time to get rid of the dead wood in this party - let's put our money where our mouths are!

12. Your vote for what?
Edited on Thu Jan-26-06 12:12 PM by Totally Committed
Just wondering about that... btw, your offer of a $500 donation is very generous, and an indication of your good heart.

If either of my Senators instigates a fillibuster, they will get my vote to keep their Senate seats.

Maye I remind you all that Senators are SUPPOSED to represent YOU? Offering rewards to them for DOING THE JOB THEY WERE ELECTED TO DO just sets up a vicious cycle of $$$$ addiction every one of them seems to have. They should be able to do the right thing without having $$$ waved in their faces.

I voted for Kerry and Kennedy. They are supposed to represent me. I have made my feelings known to both their offices. It's wait and see time now.

TC
