One thing that ALWAYS pisses me off about these * press conferences
I fucking hate it when the press corp laughs at Bush's little "jokes". Just once, I'd love to hear stone silence when * tries to make one of his pathetic jokes. I'd love to hear some reporter stand up, jab his finger toward Bush, and demand a firm answer! And this is supposed to be the "liberal" media?

1. Liberal media is nothing more than and urban legend
One started by the republicans with their claims of persecution.

3. Today's media is nothing more than a bunch of whipped pussycats
I hate today's news media. If you look back at the reporters of yesteryear, today's reporters have absolutely no spine whatsoever.

2. They've pretty much weeded out anyone with self-respect
except for Helen Thomas, David Gregory, and a handful of others. I don't see them ever laughing at Junior's "jokes".

10. I Keep Wondering...
...when are they going to think up a good reason for taking away David Gregory's press pass. I love it when he asks questions and the body language and facial expressions that go on between the two. Chimpy goes all spastic, while DG keeps a poker face and sits there calmly taking notes.

5. They're afraid of being black bagged
for publicly ridiculing *.

6. I'm with you on that,
it makes my head spin when he's smirking and they're cutting up like a bunch of 3rd graders over something stupid he farted out. Can you imagine how Helen Thomas must feel?

8. I really can't imagine
What must it be like, being one of the few journalists with the audacity to stand up to this fucktard? She has more balls than most of these other so-called reporters combined.

7. Maybe Rove's paying them out of his own pocket to laugh.
God knows they can't be caught paying them off out of government funds again.

And I really don't want to think they actually find the 'jokes' he spews as amusing.

9. The line I wish they would say is:
With all due respect sir, I find it inappropriate to be jovial when we are discussing matters of life and death.

Would that be so hard? There are times where he just rides people for not playing along and it is an obvious attempt to control the situation and take the heat off of himself. They should refuse to be complicit. And they don't have to be. He's a bully and I think they are afraid of him.

11. There will always be Faux News and the Washington Times
sitting there to laugh when * wants them to, or to toss out the softball question he needs to distract from any real issues.
