Just sent a note to CNN...
They have had this Webb story up as their headline all day...

Couldn't help myself even though I sense this is backfiring on Allen...

Here is my message...

Why do you guys even bother putting up content on your site? Why not just link to Drudge from now on as that seems to be the most important source for your headlines.

George Allen peddles this ridiculous stuff about Jim Webb's novels without success until muckraker Matt posts it, and all of a sudden you consider it newsworthy. And not only newsworthy but headline worthy.

Why not actually practice your craft instead of following the lead of a muckraking scandal monger?

Just pathetic

3. A few days ago I was going to tell Blitzer that I might as well
watch Faux News directly, instead of him trying to be one.

First, he was reporting about upcoming story about Michael J. Fox, where "some" where questioning his appearance. Those "some" of course was only Limbaugh.

Then he was reporting about how the voters doubt the ethics of the Republicans and those of the Democrats. The difference, of course, is that we never pretended to be the party of "moral values" never thought that it was our role to tell consenting adults what they could and could not do in the privacy of their own rooms.

Never welcomed many gay staff into Congress while in public condemning them..

At least today he tried to hold his own against Cheney when she criticized a story of them. I wanted to tell her that she could go watch Faux news where she would be quite happy with what she would see.

8. I read that Lynn was going to do the colleges when party came in
I never head any more on her but what I read was she was in charge of getting a list of Liberals in College teaching and sort of get a black list to get them out. Maybe it was the TV that did not say what she wanted was what she wants to turn off. This group is really after any one saying what they do not like. Kill the messenger is tops for the GOP. They can hardly get to the subject it up sets them so.

4. Good one
I guess this is to be expected from a news station that shoves that moron, Glenn Beck, in our faces.

emails re Webb's novels demanding that I respond to his question, "Isn't a mind who thinks of such things sick?" He finally laid off when I pointed him to a site with excerpts from Scooter Libby's book, John Ehrlichman's book, G. Gordon Liddy's book, and Vice Mistress Lynne Cheney's book. And I also pointed out that James Dobson has spoken about people having sex with donkeys, Santorum has spoken about having sex with dogs, and the Okie mayor spoke about marrying box turtles. And I pointed him to a Kos diary with Webb's response and a site with McCain's and Kerrey's (two vets) praise for his novels.

Good response on your part. A great point. CNN is just a DrudgeSludge portal.

7. Corporate News Network spewing BS???? No! It cannot be!
I watch them only when a DUer says to look-in.
Otherwise the propaganda is just saddening. I've been outraged too, since Ronny Raygun and the bent knee press corps.
