when CorpGovActivist (aka David Smith) was working for Halliburton. One day, he accidentally received some very interesting e-mails. They were intended for a different David Smith who worked for Halliburton and concerned problems w/ hiding $ from the gov't that the company paid out in Nigeria.

Was it because of his receiving that email that the rest of what's being investigated was discovered? I don't see any mention of him or the email in the stories you referenced, so I'm wondering how they are related? The stories seem to have nothing to do with anything anyone on DU did, so that's why I'm asking for what I'm missing.

Would these 100's of stories on google not have existed on their own without the DU'ers mentioned? If they wouldn't have, what is it that those DU'ers did that contributed to those stories existence? How come they aren't being given credit for cracking this issue?

Imagine you're a Federal prosecutor, or a minority staff attorney, or a minority ranking member of a key investigative committee.

One or more whistleblowers start quietly bringing you "inside" documents, showing what to look for. Pretty helpful, right?

That's what ***MANY*** Halliburton/KBR whistleblowers have done, operating from within the beast.

I worked in the Federal Proposals Group of Halliburton/KBR's Federal Practice. While there, I worked on the proposal responses on such key projects as: LOGCAP III, RIO II, Afghan Embassy rebuild, DTRA CTRIC task order responses, etc.

I am sure most of you know that November 5th is Guy Fawkes Day.

This movie surely fits the message for this link. It shows a parallel to what is really happening in the USA presently and what a comment on this thread shows Thomas Paine said.

As a retiree fraud analyst I am so engrossed in all the threads that Ides of October and GovCorpActivist have on DU this past month.

I have hope for the Republic of America. But you know that old saying "hope for the best but plan for the worst" and it will be hard to acknowledge the worst if what we all hope for does not happen. I have been disappointed so much in the past 6 years.

November 7th is the test. If we win I think of lot of repugs will be moving to Paraguay. If we lose I don't know what you all will do. I have already exited the USA but still their poison can flow my way. I'm hoping for a victory for all of us DU members. Long live Freedom and Justice for All.
