We threw america away
Edited on Sat Oct-28-06 03:01 PM by blues90
I say this because america had all the resource to become the greatest nation on earth and we could have maintained this title .

We had all we needed to end the use of oil and gas this could have begun 40 years ago .

We had the resource to feed all and educate all the people on the US .

We had all we needed to give everyone a desent job and a chance at advancement . We had all the industry to be self sufficient and help other countries advance .

And look at what we have done , we have reached out , out of greed and war machines with full intent to destroy and take over the globe and in this very intent destroyed out own nation .

What a shame this is and still we continue down the path of self destruct and sit back as citizens of this once great land and let it happen to each and everyone of us .

4. You're right about the damage.

President AWOL is proving that it is possible to damage and destroy even a powerful economy and military. All it takes is an idiot at the wheel.

6. No the corporations and those who own them stole this country from it's people.
Don't blame the people when they are working day and night just to keep food on the table and a roof over head.

7. Don't include me in your WE.

I didn't not vote and I didn't vote against my best interests.

It was the apathetic who don't vote, and the clueless conservatives who were duped
into voting against their best interests.

10. This was not meant to be a personal attack , it's general and true
I did'nt vote these criminal thugs into office either .
Through the years collectively the people of america for the most part went with the flow and bought into the automobile as a great idea , you want proof ,, look around , this continued right into the huge SUV's without conscience and to include willfull ignorence . WE did have options not to waste and pollute for many years now .

If anyone enjoys mass traffic each day then enjoy it but it IS insane .

We could have done so much better as a nation and I have been around long enough to see the effects and the change .

I didn't vote these thugs in but I will take the responsibility for doing nothing about it . We only have our voice and actions but apparently they have not been loud and strong enough for the last 6 years .

What can one call this other than apathy and willful ignorance ?

11. America rejected enlightenment
And when you reject the enlightenment, you get whatever is its absence.
