What's the cause? Is it related to the Zapatista movement? Has it been violent or peaceful, for the most part? And what is the government trying to accomplish by sending in the military?

is that the mother of all excesses (uprisings? & they said daddy) has been going on for 5 months, the government isn't governing, kids aren't going to school, all the political parties can go fornicate themselves, and everybody's worried about day to day necessities, society's divided, Federal police in the streets.
