Will the DU members be monitoring the polls |
|
With over 95000 members, the DU is could probably be one of the most powerful monitoring group for the coming polls.
Is there any plan in place that DU members monitor and report on the polls in their own regions, or if they have already cast their vote, in regions where they have access to.
Cameras, videos, laptops, etc. could be used very effectively. Movement of people to trouble areas could be quickly organised. Calling in, emailing, etc. to News outlets the minute some irregularity is noticed could really activate action.
A 90000 DU Poll watchers with quick access to the DU - what a thought!
Or am I just a dreamer?

3. I volunteered to be a poll worker through our county office. |

They sent me an e-mail saying they'd contact me if they needed people. Haven't heard since.
