Thanks Tweety
Just picked this up from Kos' thread re: Kerry (Kos has his back for once. Shocked I tell you, SHOCKED!

But I digress.

One surprise: just heard Tweety say flat out that reading the full transcript it's clear that Kerry was insulting the president, not the troops. Dick Armey was on at the time and essentially agreed and laughed about how funny it was that the GOP was feigning mock outrage. Ha ha. Ha ha. Funny funny GOP.

One of Sybil's GOOD personalities is in charge today. Huzzah.

2. It's time Dems stop ACCEPTING the RW spin and FIGHT back with TRUTH -
EVERY Dem "strategist" quaking in their boots over this and complaining should be given the BOOT. They are EXACTLY what is wrong with the party.

TRUTH MATTERS. Don't let SPIN rule our party.

4. Any reasonable person knew that Kerry meant Bush didn't do his homework
Only the willfully ignorant (read RNC/GOP/Media Hacks) WILLFULLY MISINTERPRETED it as a slam on the troops.

5. Yup and he said it was a HUGE mistake for the repukes to jump on Kerry like they have
because now they look desperate! They look like they're trying to change the subject. I am SOOOOOO happy SOMEONE is defending Kerry on this. Now the truth will spread and the repukes are going to regret this.:)

7. He actually has a good line to go with it:
"They thought it was a case of 'gotcha' but it turned out to be a case of 'botcha.'"

6. And, he said that Kerry's intent was "right on."
Tweets did a good job analyzing the situation today.
