I heard Laura Bush had embryo-killing fertility treatments |
|
Read she couldn't get pregnant so she had fertility treatments.
Don't they usually involve killing "baby" embryos?
Isn't twins the usual result of them?
Did Laura and her coward husband murder babies?

3. Did she have artificial insemination? Or was it IVF? |
|
Either way, if they had to create zygotes to implant, then, yes, at least a couple were killed in the process. It's how it's done. They also might still have some in storage, but they're no longer viable if they do and were probably destroyed a long time ago.

4. First U.S. IVF baby was born in 1981. |
|
And month after the Bush twins at that (not that Laura conceiving via turkey baster is any more an appealing thought... Ew.).

6. Oh, good. I wasn't sure. |

Still, it's not like they don't have a high failure rate with artificial insemination--make the woman produce more eggs to up the success rate, take daily hormone shots, and then hope and pray that it takes when so many don't. Yup--zygotes died in the process.

7. It had occurred to me that she might have had fertility treatments. |
|
Because here in our middle-class suburb, I know of some women who have fraternal twins (Jenna and not-Jenna are fraternal twins)--and they'd had fertility treatments.
This is certainly NOT to say that fraternal twins are ALWAYS or even USUALLY the result of fertility drug injections. But in this day and age--when such injections are within reach of people with 6-figure annual incomes, it struck me as quite possible that Laura had found the need to use them, and maybe had used them.
Interesting.
And... wow, look at the wondrous results!:)
