One person's tale of vote suppression |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-31-06 09:35 PM by tom_paine
I wasn't even looking for it, but I found it anyway as one often does with the open sewer that is Bushevik malfeasance.
We all know that the Busheviks have a hundred or more methods by which they gum up the voting process, inflate their own numbers, and depress Democratioc totals. And that's not even counting the unprovable electronic malfeasance which may dwarf the rest in terms of votes stolen/suppressed.
By today, purely by chance, I happened to come upon the classic case of Repigs scrubbing voter registrations of Democrats.
I was talking to this Arabic convenience store owner about the upcoming election to be stolen and the conversation turned to voting. Mind you, this is in a very Bushevik area of PA.
He said, "When I went to vote in 2004, they lost my registration and I wound up voting on a paper ballot. They told me I could call Harrisburg in 3 days to see if my vote got counted."
I told him about Bushevik efforts to scrub voter rolls and catch millions without a registration and shunted onto what I am continuing to see was the great black hole of the provo ballot.
He said, "this year I am bringing my voter's registration card with me."
I wonder if that will help if he is scrubbed again. This guy is a town resident and a business owner. Arabic Democrat. Surprise, surprise, no vote for you. Here scribble some shit on this piece of paper we are going to throw out if the election is outside the margin of the number of meaningless scraps of paper from the disenfranchised. (and Busheviks will work to throw it out if the election is within the margin of provo ballots)
I am sick at heart. Bushevik vileness and unAmerican criminality stared me in the face again.
With a cold dread in my heart, from this one tale, I saw it clearly. Hundreds of thousands of targeted Democrats who, once they are pushed onto these fraudulent provo ballots (word is that the Busheviks consider pushing someone to a provisional ballot a voctory and a suppressed vote for them) are not counted in the election night tally, at the very least and probably not count them at all.

1. If the Democrats ever manage to control Congress again... |

...in spite of this, one of the first orders of business should be changing voter purge procedures, to stop anyone from being purged during the 6 months before a federal election; requiring states to let people easily check their registrations; and mandating Election Day registration.
In Minnesota, we already have Election Day registration.

I wonder about the potential for abuse in Election Day registration, but I especially like the idea requiring states make it easy for people to check on their voter's registration.
Stopping purges in the prior six months (I would make it 10 or 12) is excellent.
Yes, we have a lot of work to do even if we can win, and fixing the voting is PRIORITY ONE!

4. Multiply this by 500,000 to 1,000,000 would be my guess |

Voter purges are all the rage as part of Uncle Karl's bag of Attritional Tools.
In use since 2004 and probably before, they are very successful at both disenfranchising Democrats and gumming up the electoral officials, making them harried and hurried and overworked responding to all those Democratic problems.
So much of this is performed openly, shamelessly in broad daylight.
