Just one more news cycle.
Honestly, i think we'll all be glad when the dust-up over Kerry's comments is over by this time tomorrow. Of course, the repuke scum will make every effort to continue stirring the pot...but provided there are no new chapters written - Kerry "goes dark" starting right now! - this sucker has run its course.

So...back to work...on *the issues*!

2. You watched CNN; Kerry goes 'dark'? Why? He brought up the war,
and this admin's culpability. Has anyone else done that? I think it's a good thing.

4. I watched CNN and was interested in Gergen comments, as i generally trust
his political judgment.

I disagree with Gergen and Sullivan that Kerry should apologize now but he does need to STFU (*duck*). He's made his statement and stood up for his honor and the truth about his statements, while lambasting Chimp's Iraq failures at the same time. He speaks the truth on Iraq, and we know the public agrees that it's a total clusterfuck. However, i also think that Kerry serves as a too-easy-target for the repukes to make this more about personalities rather than the substantive Iraq "policy." He needs to do the right thing and and let this non-story die now.

5. I don't know. On the one hand, I want the goddamn war to be front
and center.
Prior to today it was about who is winning what and how dirty are those campaingn ads. That was okay, but I don't think Kerry has done a bad thing by re-emphasizing the war even if that wasn't his intention.
