Well, I must say all of this has dragged me back to DU finally. I'd been hiding out, you see. I was all set to gear up for the midterms. Found out where the HQ was and when they'd be open. Thought to myself, "Gee, I can just pop in there when I have some free time, just like I used to down at Kerry... HQ..." And that's when I got the knot in my stomach. I mean, shit, I thought I was over the heartbreak of 2004. That was my first real campaign, you know. Suddenly it wasn't so damn easy to jump back in the saddle again.

But I finally got a copy of my ward map, and a bunch of literature, and started lit dropping last week. And now I've taken off the day before the election so that I can GOTV, just like I did in 2004.

Anyone ever hit a wall like that, or am I just a nut?
