republicans are EXTREMELY sore losers, so be prepared.
Just the THOUGHT of losing sends them into animalistic rage, they are already lashing out and hissing like reptiles at the thought of a fair playing field that allows Democrats to even enter the white house. Many of them, like bush himself, are going into hyper pissy overdrive.

They are throwing drinks at Barbara Streisand, throwing insults at Michael J. Fox, throwing insults at John Kerry, and acting in general like big fucking babies.

I expect backlashes, both from the highest to the lowliest republicans, nasty reprisals, bomb and death threats galore, slanderous lies, fishing expeditions, counter attacks, etc., they can't take defeat like normal people.

Their sense of entitlement after 6 years of total control has made them drunk with power, and bold. The little incident with John Kerry yesterday is only the beginning, their pissiness knows no bounds.

...I'm sure the national GOP has an apparatus in place that will file legal challenges to several races all over the country. Get ready for a shit storm...

3. Bush may declare the election "null and void"
if Dems gain a 2/3 majority in the House rendering him inefective. All he has to do is say the machines were unreliable and there was major fraud.

For some reason people in USA honestly think it cannot hapen here. USA is different.

It ain't. And it will happen here.

8. For a long time now, I have feared
that if Dems took back Congress (in whole or part) or some overwhelming revelation led to impeachment, resignation, or just irreversible humiliation for the Chimp and Company, there will be a small contingency of little Eric Rudolphs who won't be able to deal with the idea that the right wing fringe of the right wing fringe no longer weilds unlimited power in America and go off into the woods to finish Bush's glorious work themselves. It's not gonna change my vote, but I really think that some of these people are NOT gonna give up power even when it legitimately passes to someone else.

10. Revenge I guess goes with them. I do not see the end in sight.
These people will do any thing to win and it will be pay back time if they do not. Heck half are still fighting the Vietnam war and who wants to bring up SS as that came in in 1933 or some such year. Some are pretty mad about that. If any one should know the Middle East the Far Right should. They hold the same thinking. I swear half of them are Royalist and we should have sent their ancestors back to England when so many went.

I love the concept of constitutional Monarchy, and I'm as liberal as it's possible to get. I think we'd be FAR better off with a head of state who is not also chief of government.

with England. As the European called it, all this 'Republicanism'. It was really scary to the elite classes in Europe in the 1800's. They did not want every one to run the govt.

They will not take a loss without a big ass fight. And it will get ugly, the vote recount fiasco in Florida 2000 will be nothing compared to the fight they will put on if the Democrats win. And if we win both houses, look out, it will hit the fan.

take over. They'll be digging up twenty year old land deals, they'll be encouraging Dem interns to give up insider secrets, and they'll be taking every opportunity to misstate everybody's comments, like they have done to Kerry.

they haven't been able to gerrymander their congressional districts
they were not able to dismantle the fairness doctorine
they don't have the SCLM on their side
they don't have the election tallying handled by their own partisans

no wonder they are losing.

they have my pity.

27. Frankly I think it is this sort of attitude
That will be a contributing factor in the upcoming civil war. Yes, it may be doom and gloom, but I think that this country is headed for a civil war in the next thirty years, and it is this sort of divisive attitude on the part of the 'Pugs that will be a major contributing factor to the onset of hostilities.

Yes, I'm a huge pessimist. Sad to say, people and events have met or exceeded my pessimism on a very regular basis over the past quarter century.

36. not all of them, just the neocons that took the party of lincoln and
smashed it into tiny pieces.

Amazing how a party that created the EPA, fixed social security, negotiated SALT with the USSR, created strong ties with China, freed the slaves, expanded food programs for poor kids in school, could have turned so bad so quickly. Well, now that I think about it, Reagan was the first step, Bush the Oneth was next and Bush the Twoth has really created shit out of silver.

38. Repubs will file so many lawsuits, it will be total chaos .....
.... there will be so many elections tied up in the courts, I would expect them to try and 'holdover' current members of Congress, and then there is always the 'martial law' card to be played.

I too believe we are in for a rough time since this time the margin of victory is going to be too wide to manipulate and get away with it.

Do not expect a smooth handover of power .....
