Kerry: "I don't drink my Coffee black." Media: "Kerry is a RACIST, RACIST, I tells ya!"
WARNING: Anyone who thinks this is a serious headline, or that I actually know how Senator Kerry takes his coffee in the morning needs to take the blue pill, a couple of Ritalin, and return to reality.

OK, what the fuck people? Seriously, what the fuck? The Media will ALWAYS spin ANYTHING a prominent Democrat says negatively. Hell, Kerry could step in dog shit, bitch about it, and the media will spin it as he is anti-dog or something stupid like that. Why the fuck should we even care about what we cannot control, at least not yet.

1. We should care because it's worked for them in the past.
We cannot continue to let their bullshit go unopposed.

4. If you oppose the media, you won't even be HEARD ON THE MEDIA...
The key here is this, we shouldn't worry about what we can't control, but once we get into position to actually do something about it(like win congress), then we should act, like re-instituting the fairness doctrine, and breaking up the media monopolies. Concentrate our energies on the elections, first and foremost, THEN concentrate on the media.

3. meanwhile the Chimp can go on Limbaugh's show without apology
even though Limbaugh has made fun of people with Parkinson's by attacking and mocking Michael J Fox. and being a racist with his comments on Harold Ford .

the Chimpanzee will go on Limpball's show and demand Kerry apologize while off air they will laugh about Limbaugh's bigotry. of course Bush himself is a bigot also. and the whore media will treat Limpballs as a serious news source or someone to be respected.

5. Rush is an example of a guy who has gone WAY TOO FAR...
He attacked the prodigal son of decency, if there ever is a celebrity who can claim that title its Michael J. Fox. A guy who damned near NO ONE even thinks about attacking for any reason. Even before we knew he had Parkinson's, he was popular, and stand up guy, Mr. Nice Guy. If anyone would cost someone an election, its Rush, with his big fat mouth, costing the Repubs this election.

And Bush is already a politician's pariah, let's not try to make our own, OK?

9. it is obvious that the drug addiction has caused serious brain damage, he has gone really
down hill for someone who was a low as a human being could get to begin with..

i used to work in a mental hospital ..before Ronald Reagan put them all out on the street or in prisons.. Rush reminds me of the cerebral syphilitics.. blubbering on about nothing, unconscious..

he is beyond pathetic, he has lost all recognition of humanity, his reply..'Its for the Money stupid'

6. It's working for them
This morning our local newscasts in Pittsburgh are playing a medley of offended military families. Who knows what Kerry actually said or meant.

7. Fucking liberal media
Every time I've turned on the news since last night they've been yakking about his comment, which was admittedly badly formed but is being intentionally misconstrued.

I have just one question: Where were these fucking word police of the corporate media when Cheney admitted on the radio that giving the administration the power to "dunk people in water" was a "no brainer"?

8. On the Boston NBC affiliate this morning...
One of the news reporters actually said that Kerry's remark may affect the Democrat's chances next Tuesday. They're trying hard, aren't they? And, of course, they showed an "enraged" Bush, heaping scorn upon Kerry's statement about Iraq. (I almost typed Vietnam).

10. Why can't a person ever make a mistake, a blunder in speaking,
acknowledge it, and move on... There's nothing wrong in admitting that one has said something in a way which makes it wrong when taken out of context.

12. Because then they would apologize every day, for every word they speak...
That's the point, a "mistake" isn't a mistake if someone PURPOSELY takes what you said out of context, or even worst, add a context that didn't exist before.

13. Gee, I don't find myself apologizing every day.
And I can admit when I make a blunder.

11. I don't think I have ever been so disgusted with the media.
Didn't anyone see Kerry's press conference? He made it very clear that he was referring to Bush not the troops but the media continues to distort what he said. Why would Kerry ever criticize the troops?

14. It is NOT the media's fault. Good god.
Kerry made a verbal gaffe, and a real bad one. The timing was horrible, and the price is being paid.
