Dear Fweepers, We Interrupt Your Collective Orgasm |
|
over Kerry's bungled joke about bush to bring you this message: Dems will still win back the House on Nov 7, and make significant gains in the Senate. Remember last week? You were all so convinced that Allen's brave expose of passages in novels written 30 years ago by his opponent, would dash Webb's campaign on the shoals of the righteous indignation of the upright Virginia voter. What's that? Webb went up in the polls after Allen's brave move? Yes indeed, that was sooo effective.
Kerry's remarks won't change the facts. Americans know that the Iraq war is a debacle. They know they've been lied to repeatedly for years, and they know that your party is corrupt down to the bone. Trying to shift the focus to Kerry by lying about his remarks, just won't cut it, and as many of you say so often about bush, he's not running.
It took 40 years for Democrats to burn through their majority in the House. Your stinking party will manage to do that in 12.
Have fun wandering the political wilderness. You richly deserve it.
You may now return to your regularly scheduled and oh so delusional circle jerk.

.. the only people who are gonna get their panties in a wad over Kerry's comment are of very little brain and were voting Republican anyway.

2. True. And they're intentionally not getting the point. |
|
Kerry directed his remark at George Bush. When George Bush gave a commencement speech announcing that "even a C student can become president", the media thought it was hilarious and laughed right along with Dubya. That's who Kerry was talking about when he mentioned doing well in school or you'll get stuck in Iraq. For Chrissake, talk about intentionally missing the point. And it seems the entire national media is too dumb to figure it out, too.

3. You're being charitable. |

I don't think the media's too dumb to figure it out: They're mischaracterizing Kerry's joke about bush on purpose.

4. Perhaps I'm extremely naive, |
|
but I have great difficulty understanding how/why these cretins could jump with such glee on something so minor as a bothched joke.
I guess it's their degree of desperation.

5. It's simple: They HATE Kerry and |
|
they think most Americans do too. They've conveniently forgotten that Kerry garnered 58 million votes in 2004. They also believe that swiftboating JK will be as effective today as it was two years ago.

Swiftboating. It's a highly organized attempt to take his words out of context and to give the media it's marching orders.

Even if they believe what the media says about Kerry, how many will really question that there is an undeniable truth in that point? That's why I hope that it won't effect the decision of enough voters.
