This Kerry thing wa a muffed joke. It did not ruin our chances. That's it... Stop saying the sky is falling. Our oppotunity for taking the COngress is genuine and not particualrly tenuous.

Does he need to clarify his remarks? Probably, but more he talks about it the more it stays in the news cycle. His later comments aimed at the republican hacks who did not serve were great.

If he shuts up the only people who are going to be talking about this tomorrow are Limbaugh, the freepers and us here on DU.

Stop taking the GOP bait. Stop whining.

3. I like Keith's assessment yesterday ...
the joke is on *

- Kerry meant to say * was too uneducated, didnt do his homework before invading, and we are stuck in iraq

- Now * is too stupid to understand the joke is on him

- The longer this stays in the news, the more people realize how * loves to portray his opponent's weaknesses
but never gets to the substance of the matter

4. Let's ask Chenney why he failed to serve in the military
Edited on Wed Nov-01-06 07:46 AM by Xipe Totec
Let's ask John McCain why he did not defend a fellow Vietnam veteran.

Let's ask the VFW why they allowed the Republican Congress to cut medical benefits for Iraq war veterans.

turn the headlights around; this is not about Kerry, it's about the Cowardly Elephant of the Republican Party.
