4. The Trend Lines Look Decent...
If Allen and Talent can't get out of the mid 40s and fast, they're in deep doo doo.

Allen finally did it...he pissed off Virigina Beach and I suspect we'll see a stronger Webb vote in that area than expected. Felix is Macaca food.

McCaskill knows how to run an election in Missouri...barely losing two years ago and has gone into this race knowing where she needs to get the votes to put her over the top. Thanks to Rushbo, the Stem Cell issue has moved this election right to where McCaskill wants it...in the suburbs of St. Louis & Kansas City...where she's doing very well and just needs to break even in the rural areas...and polls show she's been doing that. Yes, it's gonna be close, but Talent hasn't been over 45% throughout most of this election cycle and he's gotta find votes in places not friendly to the GOOP.

Corker/Ford is still too hard to read. I'm hoping the slimning of Ford is going to backfire and we'll see that in poll numbers later this week. I'm hopefull for a big turn out...the higher the better.

While I don't like to count chickens...if control of the Senate boils down to these three seats, we're sitting pretty folks.

8. Rule of Thumb...2/3rd go to the Challenger
If someone is still undecided this late in the campaign, it means the incumbent didn't close the sale. They are a known commodity and if they can't secure a vote this late, that means the challenger's message is getting through. In this election that doesn't bode well for Talent.

I'm building in a 1 or 2% surge for Talent from the GOOP GOTV effort, not more. If Talent can't get to 48% or better on the last poll...doesn't mattter where McCaskill is, he's gonna lose.
