Ticket. I believe both were elected. Gore first, Kerry second. Gore has eight years of experience in the executive branch; Kerry has none. Gore has also given better speeches--more on point as to the Bush Junta--than Kerry has. But Kerry would make a brilliant V-P--president of the Senate, for one thing (where he has many years of experience), and guider of Senate investigations. Gore, having been V-P--and being the man he is--will also use Kerry well as V-P. The brilliance and commitment to public service of both of these men will be badly needed to repair the immense damage that the Bush Junta has inflicted on our country. We will need TWO presidents, and we will HAVE two presidents, in effect.
The American people elected them. So I would put aside my differences with them (Gore, mostly NAFTA; Kerry, the war, and the early concession, hanging his supporters out to dry), and strongly support this ticket, in order to restore order and rightful government in the U.S. I think restoring order and rightful government is more important than any particular policy. Our democracy will right itself, and start creating better policy, if the people who were elected, and who represent the majority, gain their rightful place as the leaders of our government.
I think there is widespread consciousness now in the general public that the American people were robbed of their choices for leader of the country--more consciousness re: Gore, less re Kerry but it's growing (with the realization that the electronic voting machines, hastily installed in the 2002-2004 period, are highly riggable, and run on "trade secret" code, owned and controlled by Bushite corporations). The election theft against Kerry was a severe blow to democracy in the U.S. The amazing grass roots democracy movement that grew up around his campaign (initially inspired by Howard Dean)--a movement that blew the Bushites away in new voter registration in 2004, nearly 60/40--was given a severe blow by that election theft, and is only just recovering, as people have begun to realize what happened.
Can you imagine the joy--and the feeling of renewal, and positive outlook for the future--at the Inauguration of Gore/Kerry in January '09! There will be dancing in the streets!
I might have some of that enthusiasm for Gore and someone else--like Clark. I would not have it for Kerry in top spot. His opportunistic vote for the war, and early concession*, were just too compromising. But a Gore/Kerry ticket has special magic, in my opinion--restoring the rightful order of things--and bringing complementary strengths, and, above all, LEGITIMACY, to the executive branch.

*(I do think that Kerry was in a tough spot--but it was largely his own fault, for failure to loudly object to, and prevent, the takeover of our election system by Bushite electronic voting corporations and installation of EASILY hackable vote tabulation systems. The story is that Christopher Dodd misinformed him on the perils of the new electronic voting systems. But I hold Kerry responsible for KNOWING how the votes are counted and by whom. If the Dodd story is true, Kerry should not have relied on that Bilderberg 'Democrat''s word. He should have looked into the matter himself. Kerry furthermore voted for HAVA, that criminal piece of legislation that was so full of holes, an idiot could see through it. That's the '02 law that permitted "trade secret" code, and many other evils ("paperless" voting--unauditable, unrecountable votes, for godssakes!), into our election system. I think we've had some doublespeak from Kerry--both on the war, and on the election system. I still think he WAS elected, and should join Gore in taking back the White House for the people who elected them!)
