You're Wrong! Kerry Should NOT APOLOGIZE: He Should POUND BUSH on IRAQ!! |
|
Why apologize for Republican partisan word-twisting shennanigans? When I heard Kerry's statement yesterday, it was so damn obvious to me that he wasn't referring to the TROOPS but to BUSH. That BUSH was stupid enough to get us bogged down in Iraq.
How much clearer can you get? This is obviously Republican trickery and word twisting just before an election. De ja vou 2004.
What Kerry OUGHT to do is REALLY get Bush on the defensive. Start POUNDING Bush on his failures in Iraq. Bush is weak and vulnerable when it comes to that sore subject, and he can't run or hide from his dismal foreign policy record.
Senator Kerry- KEEP IT UP!!! Get Bush riled up! Keep him on the defensive, and watch it crumble down all around him and the entire Republican party. Bush cannot take criticism and royally screws up every time he is put on the defensive, jumping up and down like a monkey and babbling incoherently about God knows what.
Kerry '08!!!

1. I agree - the Kerry story needs to die - the war story needs to be told. |

4. Hear hear! We ARE stuck in Iraq, and it's NOT the soliders' fault! |
|
That's what Kerry should be saying. And if it's pointed out that he voted for the war, he should point out that the President deliberately deceived him into doing so.

5. Agreed! And the Dems (like Harold Ford) should use it to fight! |
|
USE it as a perfect example of how the Cons tell lies, make distortions, and rev up the noise machine! USE IT!
Instead, they're running away. Stand up and FIGHT BACK!!! :banghead:

10. Yeah, what's Ford THINKING?? |
|
It's obvious Kerry didn't mean the TROOPS and now Ford is going to nail Kerry for GOP word twisting? That's bologna.
Ford - get a grip!

6. people are going to be pulled emotionally to be angry at kerry to find |
|
that really it was just another gop game playing with their emotions and they are going to be more angry at republicans than before this started. it is just one more play on the emotions of americans in something so serious..... and it is ugly. the people will be more disgusted as they realize both media and repug KNEW all along kerry was talking about bush. and they will feel foolish falling for it again, and it will reflect on gop

9. The entire party has to do it |
|
Just like in 2004, he can't do it alone. It takes some real hammering from the party to get the media to turn. There's only one person who has the clout to do that and that's Hillary. If it doesn't get done - she's the reason why.

11. The party needs to put out an ad |
|
with a list of all of Bush's lies and a demand for an apology for that. These fugging Rethugs who run from fighting have some fugging nerve.

Even an ad with Bush's insults against Democrats and equating us to terrorists would be good. Or maybe an ad about the media hyping White House attacks while real stories went untold. This is just nauseating.

14. Rule #1 that the Democrats need to learn |
|
Don't apologize unless you're really wrong. If you're not factually wrong, full speed ahead and keep pounding the issue.
