1. thought I felt a breeze... drafty isn't it?
won't go into the background details - but I met a man yesterday who got back from Iraq this past JULY...

as it relates to this particular subject:

he said "they" can't pull any more reserve troops for much longer. There aren't enough, and "they" are now relying more and more on the active duty personnel. If "they" don't withdraw, and are serious about "winning" - it's going to take double-triple the amount of troops currently in Iraq, and that means a draft.

in general, his comments about Iraq:

- his superior officers have asked for additional forces and were told "D.C. will not authorize it"

- Most in his unit have not real idea of what "stay the course" means since they can see no course except to get their butts shot off

- it's a general attitude the Iraq war was a mistake in the first place, and it's totally f---'ed up

2. And, we just lost Powerhouse Cynthia McKinney from both Committees...
She will be replaced by whom?

We shouldn't have lost Cynthia. They went after her.
