RW CNSNews quotes "DU blogger" regarding Kerry |
|
http://www.cnsnews.com/news/viewstory.asp?Page=/Politics/archive/200611/POL20061101b.htmlA Few Liberal Bloggers Not Happy With Kerry <snip> And a blogger on the Democratic Underground website opined, We would all be better served if those candidates gunning for 2008 would please shut up and stay quietly on the sidelines until after Nov. 7." This blogger called Kerry's remarks "stupid...off the cuff at a time when Dems can't afford" to mess up, especially so close to an election.

That was from a single response to a post (and the 192nd response, at that), and it's representative? Someone had to read nearly 200 posts congratulating Kerry for standing strong on the meaning of his statement, but no mention of that discrepancy in the story. Two hundred huzzahs, one reticent post, but the unhappy "blogger" is the bellwether?

...in order to stereotype a whole group is not a source to be trusted.
That Tarantula guy in the WSJ does this, as does a bunch of RW radio goons.
Of course, this all makes the news source look amateurish. Then again, CNS is not necessarily a trustworthy news source either.
And for the record, I could easily find RW blog and board postings bashing Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, etc. What's the point?
