First I called them morons before I didn't....
This latest Kerry thing is ludicrous, and undoubtedly a pleasant relief for Foley among others. It makes for a great distraction.

Two things about this disturb me.

The first is that the "Kerry in '08" crowd is still going to insist Kerry is the ideal candidate for '08. The thing is, a candidate can't build up a head of steam and get a message out if his supporters have to constantly follow his trail and explain "what he REALLY meant was...".

The second is more annoying. Kerry has the voice of an orator. He has the demeanor and experience to display a certain amount of gravitas. He has the capacity to display the charisma of an avuncular uncle. The man can't put together a simple sentence to save his life, though. That's an exaggeration, of course, but his occasionally jumbled words are what gets him in trouble.

Still frustrated.

1. You might be less frustrated
... if you didn't let the rovian spin turn your head around.

Stand and fight the spin. Get your head straight. Kerry called the president a dumbass. That's all you need to know.

3. Then why didn't he SAY the president is a dumbass
even in a joke. It's not like 230 million americans haven't said the same thing (300 million minus infants and infantile koolaid drinkers).

2. 'WE' need a Democratic President with the eloquent speech.......
of a Clinton and NOT the 'butchering' of the English language done by likes of bush.
