People who support the war are stupid.
Very stupid. Fundamentally stupid. They're very uneducated, despite any degrees they may have acquired. They're intellectually lazy.

There you go. That's the problem. That's why people are upset. Stupid people don't like being told they're stupid.

Now don't even get me started on how fundamentally immoral they are too.

1. Or perverse - on some level they see how horribly wrong this is,
how they were maybe sold a bill of goods, but they can't bring themselves to admit it, even to themselves.

3. You are correct. People who support the war are stupid or greedy
Or both.

4. And if there was a draft, you can bet your sweet bippy a lot of
them would change their minds very quickly about the war.

5. Don't be so sure about that
My Republican parents thought both the Vietnam war and the draft were just great. Even though I would have been drafted if people smarter than my parents hadn't ended it when they did. There you go.

7. My dad got drafted during WW II
But I do know smarter people who received deferments during WW II to stay home and protect the womenfolk.
