AAR/San Francisco: Franken out, MALLOY and Hartmann IN!!
I'm stocked that Malloy is back BUT they're moving Randi show to the 9-11pm spot! It's a good thing I have XM radio.

MIKE MALLOY AND RACHEL MADDOW RETURN TO 960 THE QUAKE!
Tuesday 10-31-2006 12:54pm
As we get close to one of the most important elections in our time, 960 The Quake is putting more outstanding talent on the air to help you understand where this country is heading and what you can do about it.

No one Air America personality's departure created as much of a stir as did Mike Malloy. 960 The Quake is pleased to announce that Mike Malloy is returning to the Quake's airwaves. On Monday, November 6th Mike Malloy will be heard live from 6pm to 9pm. Thom Hartmann will now move into the mid morning 9am to noon slot, replacing Al Franken.

3. E-mailing my AAR station to...
...bring back Mike Malloy. The 8PM - 12Mid programs here in
NYC re-e-eally suck. Bring Back Mike!

4. Smart move...I always said Franken is dull & boring on radio...and too worried
Edited on Wed Nov-01-06 01:02 PM by LaPera
about a Senate seat to really be anything more than patronizing left of center...I do enjoy Franken on television though, he can be very funny...However, radio is a new medium for him and some just don't have it...Peter B Collins. Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes, Thom Hartmann & Peter Werbe, have it --Franken doesn't.

Except for Randi, I'm glad more stations are getting away from AAR line-ups and going more to independents...Like Collins, Malloy, Hartmann, Stephanie Miller, even Shultz (who is too uninformed for me)....As mentioned Peter Werbe deserves to also be considered.
