A friend just got back from the INS..... |
|
(actually, is it even called INS any more?) Anyways, his green card expired a year ago and he just now got around to renewing it. He hasn't slept in weeks because he was afraid he'd be deported before his scheduled appt. Everything came off without a hitch and he's here for another 10yrs. While he was there, the person finger printing him said "I've never printed an Irishman before", 3 Mexicans were arrested, and come to find out they never ran his record to check for outstanding warrants, convictions, etc. He says it's because he's from a white, European country that he was treated so leniently. I sort of agree. Thoughts?
