15. Limbaugh struck a chord with the knuckledraggers and cashed in. |
|
That surely is no indication of native intelligence. You combine that with his intellectual laziness and his willingness to lie, and you have one dumb sonofabitch.

|
(at least, I think so). There is no Limbaugh Family Evil Empire, anyway. I enjoy inventing new put downs for Rush Limbaugh, and his fans, but I would NOT say Rush himself is unintelligent.

22. You didn't say it. I did. |
|
Limbaugh's self-made man bullshit is a hoax started by him. His family is filthy rich, and Piggy's first job in radio was at his father's station.
No man of intelligence could utter the endless stream on nonsense that flows from Limbaugh's mouth.

27. So, he WAS spoiled and coddled from birth! |
|
That figures.
I'm not disagreeing that he's an idiot. He's a savvy idiot, for being successful at what he's doing. He is successful, so he can't be completely retarded. He's the head dumbass, that his minions of dumbasses cheer on. Oh, what am I talking about?! I don't listen to him, so I have no idea.

13. If Clinton had been interviewed by Mike Malloy during a campaign, |
|
the entire media would've been filled with Republican demands for an apology. He'd have been accused of being "needlessly partisan" and "pandering to extremists". Anyone doubt that for a second?
I think it's absolutely disgusting the way this crowd just shamelessly pimps their wares on outlets like Rush Limbaugh's show and Fox News.

17. Clinton made a call into Amy Goodman's show and was given |
|
some hardball questions that he did not appreciate. My guess is that he expected her, Amy Goodman, to fawn all over him as I am sure Limbaugh is fawning all over Bush.
Randi Rhodes and Sam Seder would let Bush have it. I am not so sure of other Air America hosts, they'd be so enamored at having the president on he'd get softball questions.
If there was a fairness doctrine then the folks who syndicate Limbaugh's show would have to provide equal time for a Democrat, or call the time shrubby is on the show an in kind campaign contribution. This is nothing but a campaign commercial for the Republicans! Unfortunately Reagan did away with the fairness doctrine in the 1980s.

19. Man, the right wing exists *only* in a bubble: Fox, Rush, phony photo-ops... |
|
They never, never, NEVER trot out their horse-flop in front of a genuine cross-section of the American people.
The entire right-wing game exists in some truly bizarre universe where: turkeys are plastic; New Englanders adopt a pseudo-Texas twang; a drug-addled pillhead is the chief spokesman; vetted audiences believe their leader is somehow related to Christ; the sick are to blame for their illnesses; and everything is perceived in strict black-and-white.
It's a test-tube government. Take it out of its mucky, coddling environment, and it will wither and fade in the sunlight.

What a desperate, sick act. Our pResident lowers himself to do a stint on a hate-radio circus show. Gee, what's next...will the Cheney's and the Bush's go on "Trading Spaces"? :eyes:
Bush is attempting to stoke the base. They're worried that the base isn't going to show up on election day.
Desperate times call for desperate politicians to appear with desperate radio hatemongers.
Just a bit of advice, Mr. pResident: According to a recent poll, 74 percent of the country finds Rush Limbaugh repulsive. If you want to whip up the crazies in your base, fine. However, it's the Independents that you really have to worry about and they are on the side of the Dems this time. Rush Limbaugh isn't going to win you any elections. In fact, he's going to make you appear more like an extremist freak. But fine...your silly errors only help us. Ya jackass.

24. Hate radio has been around since at least the 30's when Father Coughlin |
|
railed on Jews and, later, FDR.
This is the first time the country was ever dishonored by having a President go on one of those shows.
It really is a kick in the groin to the millions of Americans who call themselves liberals or Democrats, whom Limbaugh calls traitors virtually everyday.
GW Bush never was our President and now he makes it official.
