Is there anyone in politics dumber than George W. Bush?
Liberal radio hosts and columnists constantly use the phrase that "Bush lacks curiosity." Perhaps that's a polite euphemism for being really dumb. (And perhaps many of them even question his sanity.)

As Adlai Stevenson once dryly remarked, "Anyone can be president. In America, that's the risk you take."

I'm sure that there are people in our government, or in other governments around the world who are dumber than Bush. But after giving it some thought, I'm damned if I can name one.

Any suggestions?

5. "In politics" he's pretty shrewd. He's dumb at EVERYTHING ELSE.
...and, with what's going on over Kerry right now, I'd say we've got a few of our own who are dumber than Bush "in politics," at least. :banghead:

6. Kerry?
After all, Kerry can't open his mouth without losing an election. Even when he's not running.

9. With Kerry it's not dumb, but...
...that exasperating inability to just speak in simple easy to
understand conversation. His words always have had a strange
cryptic vagueness that requires him to have to
"clarify" what he "meant to say". Going
back to the testimony before the Senate committee on Nam war
atrocities. He was referring to the orders given by Officers
and Pentagon brass. But he NEVER SAID THAT in those exact
words so his remarks were wrongly characterized as
"trashing the troops."

8. Bob (B-bomber2) Dornan and Dan Quayle off the top of my head
although neither are in office anymore. I have notice that all the stupid ones are Republicans. The smart Republicans are plainly amoral and criminal, and they manipulate the dumb ones.

10. Maggie Thatcher had some pretty thick ministers at times, as she didn't want people around who could
think for themselves.

There was a famous Spitting Image restaurant sketch where Maggie's cabinet were referred to as 'the vegetables'.

11. He's not stupid
He's a sociopathic ego maniac who can't be bothered listening to anyone else, revising even one of his precious opinions, or actually working at learning something. He's spoiled, lazy and paranoid.

Jim Bunning is stupid. Allen is stupid. A whole bunch of Repuke senators are really stupid.
