This Kerry-Krap will BACKFIRE bigtime for GOP
Edited on Wed Nov-01-06 01:54 PM by npincus
The obvious B*sh effort to turn back the clock and re-fight campaign 2004 makes the mendacious monkey who fiddled and ate birthday cake while New Orleans drowned seem MORE out-of-touch than ever! The public will get it this time, believe me.

Boy, this may have dominated a 48-hour news cycle, but the death, chaos and stupidity of B*sh's war lives on in the disgusted minds and hearts of American who KNOW the difference between 2004 and 2006.

5. He misses the good old days
when 'Merkins still were fightin' terrists in Iraq, and not an occupying force mired in a civil war.

8. This is also a good thing - Cheney is so loathsome and despicable
bringing him out hurts them and helps us.

6. Victoria Jones just telegraphed how they'll attempt to use this on Thom Hartmann
They will claim this joke by Kerry brought out their outraged base. She actually claimed that this joke would bring out the outraged base and might swing the election.

Pretty weak, but she was adamant. AP Radio news clips have been hounding this into the ground all day. The media is definitely running it up the flag pole.

I think their eroded base isn't big enough to swing any election anymore, but they will attempt to use this meme as cover for election theft. I kind of hope they do run with it, because if this is all they've got they are in a weaker position than even I thought.

IMO this episode pisses me off even more, so hopefully it will piss off other Dems and inflame our GOTV efforts.

7. "This" is ALL the GOP has!
That's why it was such a stupid thing for Kerry to do in the first place. The GOP has NOTHING to run on. NADA. They ca'nt really talk about the economy; they don't WANT to talk about Iraq. They got NOTHING. But JK just handed them something to talk about. And that's what pisses me off so mightily. And the GOP will ride this horse for the next six days. Let's HOPE it doesn't work. I'd like to think it won't work, because there still is no good news coming out of Iraq; there still is no good news in anything else for the Pukes. Maybe most of America gets it this time.

But I wish JK hadn't handed them ANYTHING to talk about.

9. "This" is a GOP lie
It's still nothing.

Kerry can and should say whatever he wants.

10. The Smart Fish Aren't Biting...
Only the guppies are. This opens up microphones for Democrats to speak out against booosh and his can and should be turned right back on thie regime.

This is desperation from the Rove machine...and look at the timing...it's meant to dominate the news cycle to create some, any momentum on their side. Kerry's remarks are already backfiring as it's allowing Democrats to use it as a club to hit back.

This is a last gasp game of "moral outrage"...forcing Democrats to dance to the Repugnican's tune. If it wasn't something Kerry said, it's be something Dean did or Michael Moore...this entire "outrage" was more orchestrated than Ice Capades. The more this regime talks Iraq, the worse things get.
