using this line about Bush over and over without raising a ripple. What if he had had the guts to say flat-out "George Bush had the chance to attend two of the finest universities in this country and he spent his time partying and drinking instead of learning. No wonder he was so ignorant that he dragged us into this mess in Iraq"

The thought would have been clear, gaffe-proof and widely repeated! If Kerry is still too polite to speak plainly while on the campaign trail, what kind of candidate would he be in 2008?
