What other country has ever created, trained, and armed their own 'enemy'? |
|
Based on Bush's lies, we went to Iraq to 'free' the people there from Saddam. Instead, it seems like we created an insurgency. We have trained hundreds of thousands of Iraqis to be police, security details, and army units. We then supplied all of those with weapons of which we have no records. Has there ever been another situation like this mess?

We're training the Irqi police and other recruits. Memebers of militias sign up. After they're trained they either stick with the program and infiltrate said units, or go back to the militias. We're training them to kill us.
Your hard earned tax dollars at work.

a Bush ancestor sold weapons to both sides in WWI and lived to spend the money. A Bush I donor/family friend matched prescott Bush's finances for Hitler(up to and past Pearl Harbor) by selling scrap iron to the Japanese. Bush I and Cheney Halliburton vigorously gave materials to make WMD's and poison gas to Iraq, Pakistan, and just about anyone they planned to use or abuse later. Bush I stalled and ignored the issue of former Soviet Union nukes forcing Nixon to come out for a WTF criticism.
I know you'll just say it all one and the same thing and one and the same perps, but that is the list that springs to mind.

who paid Hitler to publish anti-Semitic literature in the 1920s. IBM under Watson sold American made punch cards to the nazis all through WWII so that the nazis could keep their trains running on time, and keep their census up to date.

The Romans had cut taxes on the wealthy so drastically they could no longer afford a military, so they began hiring the Germanic tribes along their borders to protect them from the Germanic tribes further inland. Soon they invited groups like the Visigoths into the Roman Empire and promised them land and food to serve as their military. When the Romans could not meet their obligations, the Germanic troops turned on them, took land for themselves, and eventually destroyed the western Roman Empire, even sacking the city of Rome in the process.
We aren't the first. We just aren't smart enough to learn better.

where the British minority and their families were decimated by former levees. It seems to be a disaese of empires that the perspective gets skewed and screwed until blowback is merely a matter of time.

11. THAT'S NOT WHY WE WENT TO IRAQ |
|
Freeing the Iraqi's from their evil dictator was the reason about 18 months after the War had already started.
The original reason to start the war was to take full advantage of 9-11 fear by implying that the USA doesn't want THE SMOKING GUN TO TAKE THE FORM OF A MUSHROOM CLOUD and Saddam was months away from developing WMD's that could take out NYC in 45 minutes.
DO NOT EVER FORGET THE ORIGINAL REASON FOR THE WAR. As Paul Wolfowitz said at the time; WMD's ".....was the only thing we could all agree on."
"OK guys, we're gonna invade Iraq. Now that we've settled that, what do we tell everyone about why we're doing it?" - a hypothetical GWB question in the Oval Office on Sept 12, 2001.
