Damn You Chris Matthews!
He's got me watching him again! :banghead:

Yesterday, he was calling out all of the talking heads on their smear of Kerry as political tricks and not being honest about.

He's hitting them back again today.

8. I'll never forget
how adamantly he was opposed to this war, then he went on some vacation with his sons and caught some mysterious illness that made him lose a lot of weight and almost died.As soon as he got better and returned to the air-he fell right in line.Who knows maybe somebody spiked his gatorade with a little anthrax...

15. Jackass Welch got to him, just as he got to Timmy Potatohead Russert
Remember, Jackass was GE, and GE owns NBC. It's all of a piece.

Tweety used to work for my old late neighbor, Tip O'Neill, and he also worked for onetime Senator and Presidential candidate Ed Muskie as well.

That said, his family is PA GOP, and they always have been. His brother is running for LT GOV in PA. On the GOP ticket, of course.

16. He is more conversative...
But:

Matthews has worked for four Democratic politicians. He was a presidential speechwriter for four years during the administration of Jimmy Carter. He served as a top aide to long-time Speaker of the House of Representatives Tip O'Neill for six years. He worked in the U.S. Senate for five years on the staffs of Senators Frank Moss and Edmund Muskie before running for U. S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.

Matthews worked as a print journalist for 15 years, spending 13 years as Washington, DC Bureau Chief for The San Francisco Examiner (1987–2000), and two years as a nationally syndicated columnist for The San Francisco Chronicle.

He had to have been a bit on the blue side ....

17. He was, but his daddy was GOP and his brother is GOP
He loves to cite that quote that if you aren't a Democrat in your youth you have no heart, and if you are one when you're old you have no brain. Now, he's trying to play the Indy, but he's full of shit. He's an opportunist who has leaned right since 00.

He's a fucking tool. He blows with the wind. I give him no credit for having a snakelike sense of self-preservation.

He's on the D bandwagon once more because the smart money says "Hop aboard!!!"

6. He's got Richard Nixon's black love child on as the RNC apologist
This douchebag is Cheney-trained.

And no, he isn't, to my knowledge, ACTUALLY Richard Nixon's love child, but hey, he COULD be:

11. He's seen KO's ratings going through the roof.
Maybe he really believes what he's saying now, and that's fine. I just wish he hadn't been cowed by the GOP before. I know he thinks Iraq is FUBAR.

to make sure there is a debate about the war, he really wants the country to have this debate right now BECAUSE of the elections. He did call them out on the destractions...etc.
