Republican poll watchers? |
My husband just told me that he heard on the radio that Alberto Gonzalez is sending poll watchers to 65 cities to make sure everything goes all "right." (Well, he didn't put the quotations, of course, but I don't doubt that that's what he means.) Has anybody else heard anything about this? Are the Dems prepared to watch the watchers?

3. At my polling place both parties have a representative. |
The reps mark everyone who votes (you have to say your name/address out loud) off of their list. If you don't vote but have voted in a primary, then they go to your house to convince you to vote in the election. I suppose they are also watching for an problems.

4. Gonzo wants Feds watching polls though |
Feds appointed by judges, not volunteers.
