We cannot scream this LOUD ENOUGH...BUSH ABANDONS SOLDIER IN IRAQ |
|
What the fuck kind of "Commander In Chief" is this? To hell with ANYTHING else...a mother and father won't have to deal with an extended tour, or a crippling injury, or even a military funeral...they've got to face the fact that their son is has been completely abandoned by the man who sent him there OVER A LIE. I'm just dumbstruck...Remember Jimmy Carter, and the GOP, all these years later, STILL ripping the elder statesman for a failed RESCUE ATTEMPT, but Bush isn't even TRYING. He's just given a kidnapped soldier -- a hostage -- up for lost. Syonara, private. You're FUCKED because the decider decided your life isn't worth his trouble, even though he sent you there.
Shed a tear, for this brave man and his family. And for our once great nation. This is truly a new low.

6. No easier than you can, sorry. |

I've been watching the Cabal News channels today, and they've been using over-the-shoulder quotes all day about Maliki or Al Sadr, whichever, forcing Bush to give up on the soldier. It is a double-humiliation, in fact...the new government we've installed has shit down our president's throat, and we've spent 7000 posts talking about Kerry. I'm sorry, I don't have a link, but I'm sure it will be easy enough to find on a major news page.

No amount of SUV ribbons can hide this betrayal of our troops by this wicked, un-American gang of traitors!

12. The 'pubs use the troops as a propoganda tool, only. |
|
They couldn't give Cheney's left nut what happens to the actual men and women serving in the military. They cut benefits, pay, and line their own pockets via Congress before they make sure our troops have the proper equipment. And they disrespect and shit smear men who have served this country if these men happen to disagree with their policies (Kerry, Murtha, etc, etc, etc).

Just kicking. Maybe it's just me, but this seemed like a pretty important issue. We've let them frame everything for us, and set the agenda. We need to learn take the offensive and hammer the right on their pathetic hypocrisy.
Remember, no one died because Kerry flubbed a joke.

17. I'm with you. I'm shocked and horrified. |

This report and the one about the soldier who supposedly killed herself two days after objecting to interrogation techniques have both really haunted me. These people have done so much damage to the military in general, and to the individual men and women. A change in leadership can't come soon enough.
