If your voting machine shows you voting for Republicans
Edited on Wed Nov-01-06 05:33 PM by ck4829
1. Call someone to help you, they should fix the error.

2. Document the 'glitch'.

Do NOT, under any circumstances, confirm what the machine says if you vote for Democrats and it shows you voting for Republicans.

Tell this to everyone you know.

5. Who you goin'a call?
This is really hopeless. There are no mechanics being setup for anticipated voting machine and polling place problems.

6. EXACTLY if I vote for republicans and it just MAGICALLY HAPPENS
to show democrat, I plan to immediately go home and tell NOBODY about it, not even myself.

The machines are so safe that even if it says it's picking the democrat after I voted republican I trust it to do the right thing. If we question authority we're going to hell.

;)

8. Why does it do that then?
Why does it need to be 'recalibrated' after several tries?

13. shhhhh! don't tell let the "lurkers" know
about that thing in the voting machines that flips their votes to the other side! It worked for the republicans last time, now it's going to work for us.

We wouldn't want anyone to suspect that the voting machines have been rigged to give the democrats a victory! Ever since the republicans managed to convince everyone else and the news that there was nothing to worry about, it's given us the perfect cover.

***I put this way down here because the real lurkers don't have a long enough attention span to finish reading all these fancy words and figure out that this was a sardonic message in code about an ironic situation as opposed to an attempt to rig an election which would actually be a federal crime and cause Skinner to have to give the DHS my name yet again :P so I could abuse the poor dears when they showed up at my doorstep trying to harrass me. Oh look, over there! a shiny thing!

so if you don't inform their campaigns, you're not going to get ACTION.

They need this info & your affidavits to fight for recounts.

DO IT.

10. They'd have to fix it or arrest me because I'd raise holy hell
If my vote flipped to Republican and no one did anything about it they'd have to drag me out of the polling booth in handcuffs because I would stage a very loud sit-in right in the booth.

17. Cell Phone Cameras: Photograph the crime
It's been said before on DU, but I'll mention it again:
Spread the word that everyone who has a cell phone camera should bring it with them into the voting booth and photograph their vote being cast and the display results.
Even better if you have a camera that can take short films.

18. how does the camera prove anything? Take a pic of a
scrren w/ the Reeps box checked? So what? Prove you didn't hit that name before you took the pic.

CALL YOUR DEM HQ w/it, immediately, and if you REALLY give a rip, be a poll watcher.
