explain why Kerry got himself in this MESS..MESS afer what he'd been through with the "Swift Boat Folks." Does Kerry live under a rock or in the same Bubble the Chimp lives under... Does he? If he doesn't then WHY DOESN'T HE LEARN FROM HIS MISTAKES?????? I just don't understand it?

2. Because the Democrats cannot stay united.
Once major Democrats started to criticize Kerry (same goes for Dean, Reid, Durbin, or others), they have to apologize for something or the story becomes that Democrats are divided.

3. M E D I A ..
The republicans have a TEAM of people who do nothing but monitor every word that comes out of their opponents' mouths.

When something promising emerges, they go into Full Battle Stations, phoning their "field troops"..(hate show hosts, and venom writing columnists)..

the ad people are probably on 24-7 call (or in the room with them).. they immediately make commercials and or print material and
burn the fax machines up sending it all out.

the 24-7 Snooze shows have a big beast to feed , so they are only too willing to cover "what the bloggers/internets/spokespeople/unnamed source/whatever" are saying, and it gets launched into the mainstream..

It;s actually a great meothod of disseminating material, and we all know that republicans have a huge edge..

What does our side have??

we send something to AAR? or to Keith? or to Ed Schultz?

THEY CONTROL THE MEDIUM BY WHICH ANY MESSAGE IS PROLIFERATED.

They are fast on their feet and they snap to it immediately so that anything WE say, is automatically a defensive posture..an alibi..an excuse..

until democrats start taking media seriously nothing will cnahge..

republicans have mastered the technique of "canned rage"..

4. Why aren't these same dems who are
saying that Kerry should apologize at the very least follow it with * should apologize to the troops, America and all of the world for his lies and deceptions that have taken lives and spent our Treasury down. Why not at least that much, insist, make a fuss, have a tantrum over it, one after another. Regain the offensive and make them change the topic.

6. that's what the RR were angry about--Kerry declared he wouldn't apologize
and of course, all LIBERALS must prostrate themselves in abject servitude to the emperoror and his minions. They don't (obviously) give a shit about respecting or disrespecting the intelligence of our soldiers. The "real" insult was the remark about not apologizing.

7. I hated Durbin's apology, but Reid's don't really bother me, because
he gets off a really good shots. The guy plays rough. He kicks somebody right in the crotch and then says, "Oh, I do apologize, that was just really uncalled for, and I am truly sorry." Nobody has to brow beat him into an apology. His apology comes in response to whining and yelping from the injured party.

That's a lot different from what happened to Durbin. He handed his opponent a club and got beaten about the head with it until he choked out the word, "uncle."
