It doesn't matter what level repubs are, they are cheap shot artists

Here in Iowa, there are not only U.S. Representative races and Governor and other races, there are also state House and Senate races. And in one Iowa House District, there is a young lady, age 28, and a good Democrat running against a guy in his 60's who has no new ideas. The young lady wants to raise minimum wage, improve educational opportunities, keep recent college grads instate by offering more good paying jobs, etc. As I said already, the old guy, whose sons and brother have also been feeding at the public trough for many many years, has no new and constructive ideas. Now this morning, I heard an ad on a local radio station for the repub, and he accused the young lady of "having her head in the clouds", "consorting with known criminals"; her job is working with at risk youth; and "since she lives at home, she has no idea how to make a budget".
Now I know for a fact that part of the reason she lives at home is because her father is disabled and needs help getting around. Her mother works full time, nights, her younger brother is still in high school, and her sister is married with a child of her own. So she helps out her dad. These fucking repubs have absolutely no shame whatsoever, even on a state level. I do not live in her district, but I gave her 25 bucks after I heard that garbage on the radio this morning. Screw that guy and his sucking off the public teat for so long.

2. I know it's naive,

but I'm always shocked by how dirty the campaigning gets. The sad thing is that a lot of people are ignorant enough to believe all the bullshit.
