They are pushing consistent messages from the top down... from national figures to the lowly volunteer troops everywhere. We are going to minimize our losses as much as possible. Every attack ad has backfired, and yet they insist on 'staying the course'.

The only thing that could possibly do them any good right now, IMHO, is to put out some POSITIVE ads about what they stand for as a party, what their plans are for a brighter future, etc.

Sure it would all be CRAPOLA, but at least it might give a FEW voters a sense that their party has SOMETHING to offer, other than just yelling at the opposition and trying to demonize them.
