It's time for the Generals to speak up about Boehner. |
|
After taking it on the chin for criticizing the Bush administration's conduct of the war in Iraq they must be the ones to speak up for their fellow generals who are merely following orders of the civilian leadership. Just shows you how low these people will go. After ignoring the advice of the generals in the beginning, they now want to blame them for the chaos. By the way, did Boehner serve in the military?

2. The sad part is that they can't. |
|
Rep. Boehner picked on people who by law cannot (and really should not) be able to respond.
Generals cannot be involved in politics while on active duty.

They have every right to call a press conference and verbally eviscerate him.
And no, I don't think Boner served in anything but Glee Club. And they made him hide behind the curtain . . .

4. I Expect Some Ex-Generals To Launch Some Warheads Tomorrow |
|
The guys on duty can't say anything - but you can see it in some of their faces - Abazaid (sp?) looks awful. Others really did drink the Kool-Aid, I fear.
The guys who recently retired (actually or forcibly) will probably launch some stuff tomorrow - I suspect (and hope) the media will pick it up - the Kerry thing "primed the pump" for this sort of fun.
