Wonder why it is that the only good Congress critters are always Democrats |
|
I guess its maybe the fact that I am a Democrat but it seems that when you hear anyone talking about a good Representative or Senator it is always a Democrat, never an indy or a re:puke:. How can this be?

1. I have known two excellent critters that had the (R) by their names... |
|
...but that is in the course of a long life and many, many, many election cycles. Also, both were from reddish or purple enclaves in very blue states and would almost certainly be considered flaming libs by current standards.
However, even if I still lived in Gilchrest's district I would vote for his Dem challenger this year. ALL GOPpies, even the teeny-tiny minority of decent ones, need a huge thwack upside the head with a two-by-four right now. Metaphorically speaking, of course.

2. Hmmm, I don't think that's true. I've heard lots of good things |

about Bernie Sanders, and Jim Jeffords. Persoanlly I don' have a big problem with Snow, Shays, and the few Pubs who at least often vote for what they believe is right and against their Pub Party crowd!
