VA Paper Publishes Article on Assault by Allen Staffers

The Richmond TImes Dispatch, a widely read Virginia newspaper, published an article on the Allen campaign staffers who nearly threw a law student through a plate-glass window:

Police have served search warrants on two local television stations that filmed the tussle in order to help piece together the incident, he said.

After further interviews of witnesses, which might take several days, the evidence will be presented to the city commonwealth attorney to decide if any charges would be filed, Longo said.

Stark said he had no connection to Allen's Democratic opponent, Jim Webb. Stark is a liberal blogger who has confronted Allen at previous campaign events.

This story is getting a lot of play, and I think generally makes the Allen campaign look thuggish, unprofessional, and a bit desparate.
