Keith Oberman made me cry tonight.
Edited on Thu Nov-02-06 01:59 AM by Dying Eagle
Watching his special commentary tonight (11/2) was one of the most moving things I have every seen. I compare this feeling to the birth of my children. The pain on his face and in his voice cut so deep and out rushed hundreds of feelings from frustration and sadness to absolute raging anger. George W. Bush and the Republican party have taking everything away from us. They have raped our fears, hopes, truths, our since honor and pride. They will stop at nothing to hold power. They will destroy everyone and everything to maintain that power. Like Nero, they will sit on their thrown and watch Rome burn with their only concern being how it will effect themselves.

Thank You Keith, Thank you for being the voice on the mountain top. Screaming to heavens "Were made as hell, and were not going to take it any more." No more dead soldier's. No more dead Iraq's. No more cooperate media telling us what to think. No more Lies. No more trying to scare me into shredding the Bill of rights like the last days newspaper. No more FEAR!!

Keith, you made me cry tonight. Thank You for that feeling. I promise never become complacent. I promise never put down my fist or lower my voice. I promise Keith, Your voice and my tears will become our strength. To take back our country, not because it belongs to one side or ideal. We will take it back so the next generation will understand that mistakes have been made, but mistakes will be fixed. That is how a living, breathing democracy works and that is how it will live on.

Keith, you have literally laid your life on the line to simply tell the truth. In the hope that this truth will fuel the fire that will consume the injustice that has occurred over the past 6 years. If I am so blessed, in my old age I will look upon your name with the same warmth of all other great american hero's and yes sir you are a hero.

Thank You Keith.
