Kerry's joke is top story but the press has already forgotten these dead
Wellsboro, Pa. — Four were teenagers. Thirty were 21 or younger. The oldest was 53. They left homes in big cities and small prairie towns and Southern hamlets to answer the call of duty in Iraq, where 103 soldiers, Marines, airmen and seamen died in October — the war's fourth-deadliest month and the worst since January 2005.

The American TV press is now an effective arm of the US government. They remember Kerry's joke and forget the policy that kills.I wonder how many canes Bush gave to the Early Show and Today Show stars.

1. I haven't heard one news program talk about the....
....running candidates and the issues for two entire days but I'm an optimist still about winning more seats in the house. The only people who are making a big stink, besides the media, are the people who weren't going to vote democrat anyways.
